Top: Thrifted H&M, Jeans: Guess by Marciano, Shoes: Target, Lipstick: MAC, Assorted Jewelry
I wore this to work today. I grabbed the pants and then grabbed the shoes and swapped the shoes I originally had on with this pair that was stashed away in my locker in the back room. Little stress involved. I love it when outfits work out easily!
I bought these pants last summer. I was and still am in love with the “marbled” wash that they have…it makes them so much more interesting than a regular pair of pants. The only downside is that they’re kind of hard to match things with. Oh well. I love them nonetheless.
I watched Vanilla Sky for the first time.
The only movie by my beloved Cameron Crowe that I had never seen before!
It was a total mind twist and I’m still thinking about it, trying to rip it apart and figure out the true meaning behind it. OF COURSE, like everything done in this style, there is no true meaning and it’s open to a lot of interpretation.
Cameron Crowe never fails to create THE GREATEST SOUNDTRACKS of all time. I swear the entire time I was watching this movie, I felt my mind being stretched and as though I were in some amazing time machine where music was the only thing that mattered in the world. Know the feeling? I highly recommend Googling the soundtrack. That or just youtube “Vanilla Sky Soundtrack”. You can find everything on there, these days.
It also inspired me to go and watch Almost Famous again, as it is my favorite movie in the entire world and to me, it is perfect.
